1. Flame retardant mechanism of Magnesium Hydroxide Flame Retardant:
Decomposition of magnesium hydroxide absorbs heat, which is beneficial to reduce the flame combustion temperature.
The decomposition of magnesium hydroxide create water, it’s not only the coolant, also reduce the smoke density as thinner.
The decomposition of magnesium hydroxide creates MgO, which is featured with big specific surface. So, it is easy to absorb smoke and cover the combustible material.
2. Magnesium hydroxide is widely used to produce various kinds of flame retardant pipe:
PP corrugated pipe, flame retardant PA pipe, flame retardant PE pipe, flame retardant PVC pipe, and flame retardant PU pipe.
